Paige Hagy is a Chinese-American writer and journalist living in Brooklyn, New York.

 

Paige is a reporter at Accounting Today covering practice management topics like the CPA shortage, private equity, mergers and acquisitions, ESG and DEI. Her expertise lies in business and tech reporting, and she is passionate about people-driven storytelling — using narrative feature writing to reveal complex personalities and ideas that challenge readers' preconceptions.

Her previous work includes reporting at Fortune Magazine covering daily news with analysis, and at Business Insider covering financial technology with a focus on consumer fintech and payments. Prior, she interned at American Banker through the Dow Jones News Fund. She has experience as a copywriter and copy editor, as well as a fact-checker and research assistant working with journalists on articles published in The New York Times and NPR.

Paige graduated from The King's College, a classical liberal arts school in New York City, with a B.A. in journalism, a concentration in politics and a minor in business. There she was editor-in-chief of the student-run publication, the Empire State Tribune. Her work with EST was recognized by the Associated College Press and the New York Press Association.​
